What is a craft swap?

Got a stash of unused fabric, unused kits, or extra beads? Bring them to the Create98 Craft Swap! Exchange your surplus craft materials for new-to-you supplies, discover inspiration, and help reduce waste in our creative community.

It’s simple: donate what you no longer need, browse what others have brought, and take home materials that take your fancy—all while keeping perfectly good supplies out of landfill.

How it works

1

drop off

 1 Feb - 20 March

 Create98 & Create98two

Bring your clean, usable craft supplies—think fabric, yarn, paints, brushes, paper, stamps, embellishments, tools, and more. Please ensure everything is in good, usable condition and no finished products please.

Drop off at either Create98 Leigh, or Create98 two, Southend.

2

token exchange

For each item or bundle you bring, you’ll receive tokens based on the type and value of your donation (see below for details)

3

browse & swap

21 - 22 March

 Victoria Centre, Southend

Use your tokens to “purchase” items donated by others. Find new materials for your next project!

4

left overs

Any items not taken will be donated to local charities, community groups, or used in Create98 Foundation workshops.
