Join us for a delightful hands-on workshop, where you’ll approach this year’s festive season with gusto and craft three enchanting Christmas-themed ceramic decorations, using the wonderful technique of Sgraffito. Whether you’re a seasoned ceramic artist or a beginner looking to explore your artistic side, this workshop is perfect for all levels of experience.

What is Sgraffito you may be asking? Well, Sgraffito is a technique where potters put a layer of glaze or slip on a piece of pottery, let it dry, then use a pottery carving tool to scratch at it to show the base layer of color.

Using Sgraffito techniques, you'll design and transfer intricate patterns, textures, and images onto your decorations.

We provide all the necessary materials, from top-quality pottery clay to all of the tools you will need to bring your vision to life. And because we believe that inspiration goes hand in hand with relaxation, we'll treat you to a delectable slice of homemade cake and a choice of hot beverage during the workshop.

Once you've completed your creation, Lola will carefully fire and glaze your decorations. After a few weeks, we'll pop you an email and you can return to collect your finished pieces, in time for Christmas.
