Previous Next About your tutor Judy Goring I have been drawing and making for as long as I can remember\, which led me to a career in Graphic Design and becoming a teacher of Art and Textiles in se condary schools. I am now also trained to work with children and young peo ple with visual impairment (QTVI) which has given me a greater appreciatio n of being fully sighted myself\, with a little help! I have led private A rt and Craft workshops for ten years (since reducing to part time in schoo ls) which has allowed me to experiment and play with a myriad of wonderful materials\, then teach others how to use them! For the last couple of yea rs\, I have had the privilege of leading workshops at Havens Hospice and a t Create 98\, doing a variety of creative activities with many varied grou ps. Currently my regular commitment is to the midweek Art Hub\, with a gre at group of 11-16 year olds. My aim is to show each person (whatever age) how to use a variety of 2D and 3D materials\, to learn new skills and to c reate something individual to them. Once you start on the experimental jou rney\, it can take you anywhere and it never gets boring!
