 About your tutor Liz Casey - Metal Lust Jewellery I’m a contemporary jew
 eller with over 16 years of experience in the jewellery industry. With a B
 A in Metalwork & Silversmithing from UAL in 2006 I soon after stepped into
  making contemporary jewellery after meeting and working with local jewell
 er Lisa Castle - Castle Collection. Metal Lust describes the jewellery I l
 ove to make without putting boundaries on my creativity. My jewellery coll
 ections are an emporium of treasures exploring iconic themes of imagery li
 ke lightening bolts and eyes and making everyday objects into precious kee
 psakes. I love the physical processes of silversmithing\; hammering down w
 ire into geometric forms\, embossing intricate textures and setting semi-p
 recious stones. I’m continually honing my skills and learning new techni
 ques. I began teaching in 2019 at Castle Collection. I love to share my kn
 owledge and It’s a great moment when you unlock the secret of how someth
 ing is made. Making jewellery is creatively satisfying and can also be a g
 reat mindful practice. In our classes I’m here guide students at each st
 age\; showing them how to use tools correctly and build on their skill set
  - it’s a very accessible fun thing to do!
