 ur experienced instructor\, Sharon. You will be guided on how to design yo
 ur composition\, colour mixing\, understanding which colours work well tog
 ether and the different methods on applying acrylic to your piece. This cl
 ass also includes a delicious slice of homemade cake and hot drink. About 
 your tutor Sharon Henson Graduating with a first class BA Hons degree in g
 raphic design from St Martins School of Art I had a successful design care
 er for 15 years. After having my children I found myself being drawn back 
 to painting. Then followed a career change to decorating and teaching art.
  I try and find as much time to paint\, in oil and acrylic\, especially en
  plein air – my passion. Hot\, cold\, rain or shine you are continually 
 challenged to interpret the scene before you\, to capture ‘a sense of pl
 ace’ – the mood and the changing light. As a member of Leigh Art Trail
  I enjoy exhibiting locally as a home venue and meeting enthusiastic 'trai
 lers'. Also a member of Southend Art Club I enjoy exhibiting in their regu
 lar shows. My work has been accepted and exhibited in the Essex Open.
