 g and making for as long as I can remember\, which led me to a career in G
 raphic Design and becoming a teacher of Art and Textiles in secondary scho
 ols. I am now also trained to work with children and young people with vis
 ual impairment (QTVI) which has given me a greater appreciation of being f
 ully sighted myself\, with a little help! I have led private Art and Craft
  workshops for ten years (since reducing to part time in schools) which ha
 s allowed me to experiment and play with a myriad of wonderful materials\,
  then teach others how to use them! For the last couple of years\, I have 
 had the privilege of leading workshops at Havens Hospice and at Create 98\
 , doing a variety of creative activities with many varied groups. Currentl
 y my regular commitment is to the midweek Art Hub\, with a great group of 
 11-16 year olds. My aim is to show each person (whatever age) how to use a
  variety of 2D and 3D materials\, to learn new skills and to create someth
 ing individual to them. Once you start on the experimental journey\, it ca
 n take you anywhere and it never gets boring!
