 Outside of work as an office manager\, I’ve always created and 20 years 
 ago I started making greetings cards for family and friends. With an inabi
 lity to throw anything possibly useful away\, I now make all sorts of thin
 gs with paper: journals and scrapbooks\, postage stamp art projects\, alon
 gside a bit of abstract art and a little slow stitching\, beadwork and emb
 roidery all of which I use to make junk journals – bound bits of paper i
 n a cover that would otherwise be thrown away in which to create art\, wri
 te or keep mementoes. You’ll never look at packaging in the same way! I 
 also love creating my own bits of patterned paper to work with on greeting
 s cards\, in collages or in journals using a gel plate which allows unique
  mono-prints to be created using paint or ink with no need for a lot of ex
 pensive or complicated equipment\, just one’s imagination.
