Previous Next About your tutor Judy Goring I have been drawing and making for as long as I can remember\, which led me to a career in Graphic Design and becoming a teacher of Art and Textiles in secondary schools. I am now also trained to work with children and young people with visual im pairment (QTVI) which has given me a greater appreciation of being fully s ighted myself\, with a little help! I have led private Art and Craft works hops for ten years (since reducing to part time in schools) which has allo wed me to experiment and play with a myriad of wonderful materials\, then teach others how to use them! For the last couple of years\, I have had th e privilege of leading workshops at Havens Hospice and at Create 98\, doin g a variety of creative activities with many varied groups. Currently my r egular commitment is to the midweek Art Hub\, with a great group of 11-16 year olds. My aim is to show each person (whatever age) how to use a varie ty of 2D and 3D materials\, to learn new skills and to create something in dividual to them.
