  Outside of work as an office manager\, I’ve always created and 20 years
  ago I started making greetings cards for family and friends. With an inab
 ility to throw anything possibly useful away\, I now make all sorts of thi
 ngs with paper: journals and scrapbooks\, postage stamp art projects\, alo
 ngside a bit of abstract art and a little slow stitching\, beadwork and em
 broidery all of which I use to make junk journals – bound bits of paper 
 in a cover that would otherwise be thrown away in which to create art\, wr
 ite or keep mementoes. You’ll never look at packaging in the same way! I
  also love creating my own bits of patterned paper to work with on greetin
 gs cards\, in collages or in journals using a gel plate which allows uniqu
 e mono-prints to be created using paint or ink with no need for a lot of e
 xpensive or complicated equipment\, just one’s imagination.
